Football Game With Dad

Friday night Daddy and I went to the local high school season opener football game. I had never been to a high school football game. I was most interested in tackles, watching the numbers on the time clock count down, seeing the track around the the field and eating popcorn. I thought the band was too loud, which made me drop my popcorn to cover my ears. All in all it was alright but will probably be awhile before we go back. :)

Long Day

We had to go pick Dad up from work because his car was getting fixed. I didn't think I was tired but I zonked out by the time we got to his work. Marlie and Mom hung out with me in the car back at home for awhile so I could rest.

Hide and Seek

Today Mom and I were playing hide and seek. I think I had the perfect hiding place. I have no idea how she ever found me!

Rough Horsey Ride

Yesterday Daddy and I were "horsin" around in the living room . I was pretending he was a horsey and to 'push buttons' to make him do different things, like buck, go faster etc... Well after having fun for a bit I flew forward and my mouth hit the back of Dad's head. One of my top front teeth went into the back of Dad's head and my bottom teeth went into by bottom lip. Dad's head was bleeding, my bottom lip was bleeding and I was crying.

After Mom and Dad got a look to see it wasn't anything major and got me settled down they were talking about how that horsey got going a little too crazy and I said, "Yeah, I'm not going to push that button again!"

After a fun night of playing with Parker at his house I came home to have my bedtime snack of a granola bar and I took one bite and started crying because my tooth hurt. Mom and Dad chalked part of it up to me being waaaay over tired but checked to make sure it wasn't loose and that they couldn't see anything really wrong. Nothing obvious so today I've had to play not so rough and have softer foods. Hopefully my tooth will be feeling better soon!

Dental Check Up

Last Wednesday I had my dental check up. I have been there three or four times now. This time the hygienist and Mommy both said I did great. I didn't mind them cleaning my teeth but I didn't like the water they sprayed I'm my mouth and I really didn't like the fluoride...but I dealt with it. The dentist let me pick a toy out of the treasure chest. I decided on a small green slinky.

Mom and Dad also rewarded me with a new Cars car...Ramone!

Sweet Corn!

We had sweet corn for dinner tonight. It wasn't from Grandpa's garden but it was still pretty yummy!

Park - Check

Getting to my favorite park (playground at the school near our house) was one thing on our summer fun list and today Daddy took me there. It was such a nice day out and we played there for a long time! I played on everything they have there. It was fun to get to spend some one on one time with Daddy this weekend!
