I've been counting down the days and finally Christmas came! It was so much fun and I was a very lucky boy.Christmas Eve Grandpa & Grandma Dahlstrom, Uncle Brent, Kari and Reese came down to our house to celebrate. Even the family dogs came. We opened gifts, played Kinect, had dinner and fun spending time together. I got games for my Leap Frog
Explorer, board

games a suitcase, a movie, an art set, and a ride on JD tractor!
Christmas morning I woke up and Santa had been here. He ate all his cookies, drank all his milk and left me some nice gifts. I got just what I had asked for, The Polar Express train! I also got a few other gifts from him; talking Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody dolls, Monkey See, Monkey Do game for the Xbox Kinect, and some train underwear. In my stocking I got some M&Ms, a train cup, and some sight word flash cards. Mom and Dad got me the Leap Frog Tag Reader system and some books and maps to go with it. They also got me a couple games; What Time is It and Hullabaloo and an ISU football helmet and jersey. I really loved all my gifts.

After having waffles for breakfast and playing for awhile on Christmas morning we got ready and headed to Harpers. Mom and I spent most of the day at Great Grandpa and Grandpa Cota's house while Dad went to the Dahlstrom side Christmas. I had fun playing with my second cousins and playing football with Grandpa Cota in the living room.
Christmas night we opened gifts with Grandpa Cota at his house. Again, I got spoiled with nice gifts. I got some clothes, an abacus, a Thomas the Train calendar, a Thomas paint book and The Lion King movie.

After spending time at Grandpa's house we went to Granny's house and opened even MORE presents. I'm one lucky kid! I got several puzzles, a game, a train, a new hat and a coloring book and crayons.
I got so many great gifts I will be able to enjoy now and for years to come.
The next day I got to see my Great Grandpa and Grandma Jones when they stopped by Granny's. We also went to visit Great Grandma Dahlstrom at her house. I had fun playing with her little dog, Charlie, reading some Christmas books she had, playing with her nativity set and eating her home made chocolate cookies. From her house we got in the car and went to visit Dewey & Danette and their family. I got a cool Buzz Lightyear bath robe from them and had fun playing Kinect with the kids.
We drove home late that night. We didn't get home until 11:00 p.m. On the drive home I was getting tired and told Daddy, "I'm getting really tired!" But I stayed awake the whole ride home watching Peter Pan. When we pulled in the garage I told Mommy, "I don't want to say my prayers." She said that was ok, I could just go to bed. When were walking in the house to told her again, "remember I said I don't want to say my prayers." I was just so tired all I wanted to do was sleep!
The next day I was rested up and ready to play with all my new toys! It was a great Christmas!
Trying out the JD tractor from Uncle Brent, Aunt Kari and Reese!
