What I Want to be When I Grow Up

Today at school we had to draw in our journal ourselves when we grow up. Mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I told her a chef. She and Dad found that ironic since I'm not a big eater and have such a limited list of food I'll even eat. :) Mom often asks if I'm making dinner that evening and I always tell her no. So today she asked if when I'm a chef if I'll make her dinner then. The answer was still no. :)

More Snow Fun

This weekend I had such a great weekend! With the snow we got I spent a lot of time playing outside and doing a lot of sledding with neighbor friends!

Snow Day!

I've been waiting and waiting for it to snow again. Finally we got some snow that I could play in - and I didn't have school because of it.

Blythe was taking a long nap so Mom and I grabbed the baby monitor and headed outside to play. Lucky for me my neighbor friend, Andrea was home because of no school today too so we got to play together.

We had fun running, jumping and laying in the snow, sledding, throwing snowballs and just having fun!! Throwing snowballs is my favorite thing to do in the snow.

Even though I got to play in the snow today I was anxious for Dad to get home so we could go outside together and do some more sledding.

My PreSchool Conference

Today Mom went to my parent teacher conference for KPrep. My teacher, Ms. Allison told Mom I'm a very smart boy. She also told her I'm polite, a good friend, and do what I'm asked. I've gotten much better at cutting. She is impressed by my math and reading skills. Mom said Ms. Allison showed her one of my journal entries. I drew check marks and wrote out "checks". Ms. Allison was impressed I knew the blends I needed....the "ch" to make that sound and the "ck" for that sound.

One thing she and Mom talked about that I need to work on are my focusing when listening skills. She gave Mom a couple ideas of things to do with me to work on that but all in all she said I'm a very smart boy and ready for Kindergarten.

Happy Birthday, Marlie

We celebrated Marlie's 7th Birthday on Friday. Mom and I made a cake for us to eat and she got a dog ice cream treat. We also got her a couple presents. She got a new toy and a chewy. We sure love our Mars.

Basketball

Last weekend I started "Little Stars Basketball". I am having a lot of fun with it. We are learning to dribble, move the basketball around our waist, knees, head and this past weekend we learned to bounce pass.

Mom and Dad said I'm getting better and showing a lot of improvement in dribbling. The first weekend just Dad and I went but this past weekend Mom and Blythe came to watch me.

Field Trip

I'm finally feeling better! Between the snow and cold temperatures my school has been canceled, which has been good for me to get well without missing anything at school. Today we shouldn't have had school because it was a two hour delay but we had a field trip scheduled for 10:00 am and Ms. Allison called us this morning to tell us it was still on.

Mom, Blythe and I went to my field trip. It was a lot of fun but we were running late and Mom forgot her phone and camera, so no pictures. :( We got no see the seafood, go in two big huge coolers, watch them cut a pineapple with tool with a long handle and use the cash register. We each got to scan a candy bar.

The best part was we got to have a snack there....a frosted cookie and chocolate milk!! Yum! It was a pretty fun field tip. I'm glad I was feeling better so I could go.

Snowman Craft Night

On Tuesday night my school had a "Snowman Craft Night" and Mom had signed us up to go. Dad stayed home with Blythe and Mom and I went to my school....just the two of us. We had a fun time making our snowman and afterward we got to have hot chocolate. There were marshmallows, chocolate chips and mints we could put in it. I wanted marshmallows in mine but then I didn't drink any. Mom now knows I still wasn't feeling the best but we still had a fun night!
