Summer Fun List

We made a list of things we want to do this summer! We want to make the most of the nice weather so we thought we better have some sort of a plan.

Mom wrote up the list and we stuck it to the door we go in and out everyday! I will share with you as we cross things off our list.

Rockwell Picnic

On Friday, June 10 Rockwell Collins, where Daddy works had a family picnic. Despite the rainy forecast we went and had a lot of fun. Parker and his Mom and Dad went too!

They had food, drinks, cookies, ice cream, clowns, balloons, music, inflatables, bubbles, beach balls and give aways. I had the most fun on the inflatables!

We got rained on just little when we got there, then it stopped but then at the end we got REALLY rained on!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

It was Daddy's birthday on the 3rd and we celebrated! Mommy made dinner and Holtans came over and ate with us and she made him a Cyclones cake. I thought it was pretty neat - I think Dad did too. :)

Summer is here!

In my three short years I've heard that Memorial Day is the "unofficial start of summer". Well, it must be official.....summer is here and we got to get the pool out. Parker and I had a 'pool party'. It's been hot for a few days in a row so our neighbor girl, Andrea came over and played with us too. She turned 5 this winter, so a little older than Parker and I but she is fun to play with! We all had a lot of fun splashing, riding our scooters up and down the sidewalks and running, running, running! This is a great neighborhood for me and I think it's
going to be a really FUN summer!

Last night we met another little boy about our age - Joey. He lives across the street a couple houses down. He is 2 1/2 and has a sister who just turned 1. Won't be long and she'll be tearing up the neighborhood with us too. :) There is another 4 year old boy who live s a few houses down, Ethan. Like I said - this is a great neighborhood for me! I'm looking forward to all the fun we'll have.

Memorial Day festivities

For Memorial Day weekend we went back to Harpers like we do most every year.

Saturday we spent the afternoon at Granny's Then that night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Cota's house to play.

Sunday morning we got up and went to the Pancake Breakfast at the fire station. It was so yummy I ate two whole pancakes.

Tonya, Devon, Hadyn, Sophie, and Layla were there. They brought their grandma and Layla's other grandma along too.

Sunday afternoon we went to Eitzen for Mitchell's graduation party. I had a lot of fun there. I got to play outside at the playground with Grandpa Dahlstrom.

Monday we got up and got ready to go to the parade in Harpers. I had so much fun at it this year - the most fun I've had yet. I got to go and grab candy! We sat with Dewey and Danette and they were teaching me all about how to get the candy. After the parade we all went to the Memorial Day program. Daddy and I had to leave early though because I was getting antsy.

After Mom got back we had lunch, Great Grandpa and Grandma Jones stopped by to see me and we packed up and headed home. I was whipped! I kept asking Mom and Dad, "can I go home?" I was so sleepy I almost fell asleep in the car - well I did for just a few seconds until I popped my head up, crying a little saying I wanted chocolate. After I had a piece of parade candy I was awake the rest of the 2 hour drive home - believe it or not. :)

It was a fun weekend. I got to spend time with so many people I love!

Playing Trains....

Parker came over to play for a little while the other day and we were having so much fun playing trains Mom decided to snap a few pictures of us. Playing trains can be serious business!

To big??

Mom has had my baby bouncy seat out for when Bella comes over.
The other day she came out and found me like this - I'm not too big for it - am I?
Mom says it's hard to believe how much I've grown. The baby picture was me in May of '08 - about 1 month old.
