On Sunday we headed up to Harpers so we could watch the fireworks there. Grandpa Cota was up on the hill lighting them off again - like he does every year. We went to his house and watched them with Grandma Cota, Great Grandma Cota and some of my cousins.
It was really fun because this year Mom and Dad let me do sparklers. I LOVED them and they said I did a good job having fun but being careful with them. I even was brave enough to light my own sparkler. Kenzie, Chelsea, Carson, Brinley, Bailey and I had a lot of fun with them!

On Sunday we got ready and went to Peggy and Curt's house in Eitzen to watch the parade. I didn't make it through the entire parade - it's a REALLY long parade and it was hot.

I did get some candy though. And had fun decorating the bucket Peggy gave me. I used it to put my candy in. After the parade I played in her daycare room - I love playing down there with all of the toys. There were a lot of other kids there too for me to play with.
After the parade Danette came to see if I wanted to go on the train ride. She, Bailey, Brinley, Grandma D, Mom, Dad and I walked down and Brinley and I got to go for a little ride on the train. I thought it was soooo fun!!

After a long afternoon I was getting tired so Mom, Dad and I headed back to Harpers and packed up to go home.
We had a great weekend! Here are some more pictures from it!
