Children's Museum - CHECK

On Sunday Mom, Dad and I went to Coralville to the Iowa Children's Museum. It was soooo much fun!! I loved it and hope we get to go back sometime.

Rolling golf balls down the "roller coaster"

Doing some grocery shopping. I picked out some of my favorites, popcorn, cake, chocolate syrup for chocolate milk, granola bars, corn on the cob, pancakes and Dad's favorite cereal. I also picked out a large supply of clams. I've never had clams but Mom's thinking maybe I need to try them. :)

Banging on the drums in "Music City"

Building a race car and testing it out on the track.

Waiting my turn to "drive" the ambulance.

Peddle plane - I loved making the propeller go around and around.

Dad and I built a paper rocket and then flew it. I would jump on this step to make it fly.

Pretending to fly a plane!

Tired out from such a fun day!

Day at home...

Here are just some fun pictures Mom took while we spent some summer days at home.

I like to wear Daddy's work shoes and say, "I'm going to Rockwell Collins"

And here are some that show just how much I love "My Guys". Kiki the Monkey and Snug the Snugglie.

Here is me in the hat Dad got when we went with a work group to the airshow in Oshkosh, WI.

And me being silly - pretending to the the conductor on Polar Express

Just a funny face -

Practicing writing my name on my magna-doodle

And one of Marlie because I love her. The other day Mom asked me if
I wanted to go somewhere fun or stay home. I went over to Marlie, pet her and said,
"I just want to stay home with this pretty girl." :)

More summer fun...Bever Park - check

It's been a great summer. I've been so busy I've been slacking a little on keeping this updated. Let's see.....I need to go back to about the middle of July....Mom's cousins, Cameron and Bailey came and stayed the week with us. I had a lot of fun with them. We played a lot and Mom and Dad were thinking I was starting to think I was a teenager like they are. :)

We went to Chuck E. Cheese one night. We had pizza and played games. I liked playing Skee Ball, crawling through the tubes, going down the slides and playing the "pop the bubbles" game. I won a bunch of tickets and got to pick out some little toys before we left.

Another day Mom took us to Bever Park Zoo. I've been there before but it was the first time this summer and another thing to check off our summer fun list! I had a lot of fun looking at all the animals. I saw cows, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens and geese.

I was sad when Cam and Bailey had to go home. It was a lot of fun playing with them!

New wheels!

I got a new bike! I had a little bike I got from Dewey and Danette's family for my first birthday and I had a lot of fun riding it but I got too big for it. I have really been into riding my bike lately but it was getting a little difficult to ride a bike that was too small for me. My friend, Parker was nice let me ride his bike sometimes but Mom and Dad decided it was time for me to get a bike of my own that I could ride. On Sunday we went and picked one out that is just my size. Mom was surprised how big of a bike I was really able to fit on. She thinks I look like such a big boy riding it, but....I AM a big boy so you'll have that.

Mom and Dad said I do such a good job riding it. I also got a new helmet to coordinate with it. I'm stylin'!

Bowling.....CHECK

Yes, I've been bowling a couple times before but it was still something we wanted to do on our Summer Fun List so Saturday night us and the Holtan's went bowling! Parker and I had fun! His uncle Thomas was staying with them so he came along too.

Our second bowling game was getting a bit long so Parker and I decided to shake up with a little dancing. :)

On the cob...

Usually when we are having corn on the cob I want my corn cut off the cob. Not this time. I graduated into the "on the cob" club. :) Mom was so excited about my first time eating corn on the cob. I think it's because corn season was always a big deal when she was a kid. Growing it, picking it and of course eating it.

4th of July

On Sunday we headed up to Harpers so we could watch the fireworks there. Grandpa Cota was up on the hill lighting them off again - like he does every year. We went to his house and watched them with Grandma Cota, Great Grandma Cota and some of my cousins.

It was really fun because this year Mom and Dad let me do sparklers. I LOVED them and they said I did a good job having fun but being careful with them. I even was brave enough to light my own sparkler. Kenzie, Chelsea, Carson, Brinley, Bailey and I had a lot of fun with them!

On Sunday we got ready and went to Peggy and Curt's house in Eitzen to watch the parade. I didn't make it through the entire parade - it's a REALLY long parade and it was hot. I did get some candy though. And had fun decorating the bucket Peggy gave me. I used it to put my candy in. After the parade I played in her daycare room - I love playing down there with all of the toys. There were a lot of other kids there too for me to play with.

After the parade Danette came to see if I wanted to go on the train ride. She, Bailey, Brinley, Grandma D, Mom, Dad and I walked down and Brinley and I got to go for a little ride on the train. I thought it was soooo fun!!

After a long afternoon I was getting tired so Mom, Dad and I headed back to Harpers and packed up to go home.

We had a great weekend! Here are some more pictures from it!
