Sunshine makes me smile...

Today mommy and I met daddy for lunch. We went to Red Robin. I decided I should make it interesting. I was a happy little man before we left, but on our way there I was screaming so hard there wasn't really any noise even coming out. I do that sometimes when I have to go poop. Well, sure enough, when we got there mommy could smell me. =) We were already running late and daddy was supposed to get back for a meeting. But, of course mommy had to change me, so she did that in the car before we went in. Dad was already sitting down inside and watched the whole production. Once I got changed I was a happy camper again...and slept through lunch. Needless to say, mom and dad were even later getting lunch ordered, and dad had to miss his meeting. They need to understand, I AM IN CHARGE! I'm not sure they fully understand yet. They still think they are in charge. They'll get it someday!

Mommy and I had to go pick Marlie up at doggie daycare, and we might go watch daddy play softball tonight. We're glad it's finally not raining for the moment.

Oh, I forgot to tell you....I'm growing some new hair on top! It's pretty exciting news since it's been pretty bare up there. You have to look close to see it because it's kind of blonde, but it's hair!

Wet weekend...

Mom, dad and I had a good weekend even though it was wet! We stayed at Grandma's house Friday night before driving to Winona to Ashley and Matt's wedding on Saturday. It was really noisy in the car for most of our way there because it was raining so hard. I decided about half way there that I needed to eat! So...dad stopped at Kwik Trip so they could feed me. After that, we were back on the road. I slept through the wedding and most of the reception - I woke up just long enough to eat and kick my legs a little, but they told me it was a very nice wedding...and I got to get dressed up for the first time. I was able to see my Grandpa and Grandma Dahlstrom there too. After our long day... I was wore out!

Sunday we spent the day with Grandma and then mom took me out to visit Grandpa and Grandma too. I got a lot of attention and gave them all a lot of smiles.

On our drive home Sunday it was noisey in the car again - raining really hard....AGAIN! But, I slept through all of it. I had fun on our weekend but I'm glad to be home. Tonight I get a bath and then hit the crib. I'll be back soon! Thanks for reading!

Back to the dr....

Mom decided since my tongue isn't any better and I only have 3 days left of my medicine that she'd take me back to the dr. My appointment was this afternoon. I weighed 9 pounds 11 ounces and checked out healthy. As for my white tongue....they just said to finish the medicine I have and they aren't going to have us do anything else. I'll just have a white tongue until it clears up on its own. If I start to get white spots on my gums or cheeks then mom is supposed to bring me back in, but otherwise, for just the tongue they don't do anything for treatment. So...I'll be known as the boy with the white tongue I guess. =)

Have a good weekend!
Love,

Out and about...

Today mom and I went out and about for a little while. We went to Kohls and Wal-Mart. Mom is better at getting me ready and taking me places. But, today was funny. She fed me, changed me, buckled me in my car seat to go, and 5 seconds later I pooped. Ha! Mom was just getting her shoes on so we could go, and I decided I needed to give her a "little reminder" that I am still in charge here. I'll decide when we go - not her! So, she had to get me out of my seat and change me....AGAIN! After that we were off. I had to do some Father's Day shopping today...but ssshhh don't tell my daddy! Tomorrow we're heading to Harpers to spend the night at Grandma's before we head to Winona for Ashley and Matt's wedding. I have a really cute outfit to wear to the wedding. I'm sure mom will take my picture so I can post it on here. Should be a good weekend. Thanks for checking in on me.

Just a day....

There sure isn't anything exciting to talk about today. I spent most of my day the same way I do every other day. Eating, sleeping, bouncing, kicking, you know....the usual. Mom had to get laundry done today so there wasn't extra time for us to do anything too fun. Tonight I hung out with daddy for a little while. Mommy went shopping for a couple hours. I think it's bath night, and then bed time. Maybe tomorrow will be more exciting...I guess everyday can't be a party. =)

hApPy BiRtHdAy dAdDy!!

Today is my daddy's birthday, so me, mommy and daddy's friends from work celebrated with him by going to lunch. We went for Chinese food. I didn't get to try anything, but the egg rolls looked good. =) Dad was supposed to play softball tonight and mom and I were going to go watch but because of the rain he won't be now. So...maybe will celebrate daddy's birthday again tonight?

I was a big sleeper last night. I slept for about 9 hours! That's right...NINE hours. Mommy woke up at 6:45 this morning and was a little nervous since I hadn't been up yet. She came in and checked on me, I was just fine - sideways in my crib. I do that ya know. They put me in my crib and when they leave the room I turn myself completely sideways. One morning I almost had done a 180. Sometimes I bump my head on the rails and wake myself up.

I guess I don't have anything else to report for now. I'll let ya know if we do anything else for daddy's birthday. Have a good night!

Another great day...

It's been a pretty nice Sunday. It started out a little rough, but started to go smoother as the day went on. I was a little cranky this morning, and mom and dad were trying to get us all ready to go to the park for a cookout with friends. I guess I wasn't making that any easier for them, but I just wasn't happy. I ate, and then I threw up. Good news was all I was wearing was a diaper and mom was holding me by the sink, so she just held me over the sink - easy clean up! =) I hadn't spit up or thrown up in over a week, so I think I'm entitled to do that once in awhile. Mom couldn't really argue with me. Bad news was I was hungry again, and we were already running late for the cookout. Dad fed me half a bottle, I was happy with that - and off we went. I really enjoyed all the sights and sounds of the park. I just sat in my stroller and looked around for a long time. I did take a couple short naps, but I didn't want to miss anything. There was another little boy at the cookout who is 1 week younger than I am. His name is Evan, and his daddy works with my daddy. I think he, Parker and I will be buddies when we get a little older. Watch out world! =)

Well I guess I'm going to get some rest. I hope you enjoyed your weekend and you have a good week! Thanks for reading!
